Making Space ConversationsThe Making Space project was created by the Elgin Social Justice Initiative
(in Elgin, IL). In addition to overseeing the development of a community mural and documentary, this group was interested in building space for community conversations about race and community inspired by artwork created on wood slates in downtown Elgin in the aftermath of the George Floyd murder.
